Máster Universitario en Inteligencia Artificial e Ingeniería Computacional / Master in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Engineering 2025–2026

Introduction

The Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Engineering is designed to serve as a bridge to research and innovation.

By combining the reasoning capabilities of Artificial Intelligence with the robust modelling techniques of Computational Engineering, this programme prepares graduates to tackle the technological and scientific challenges of our time.

The curriculum transcends traditional boundaries, integrating knowledge of statistics, engineering, artificial intelligence, supercomputing… This interdisciplinary approach is not merely theoretical; it is the very foundation that led to the 2024 Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry, highlighting the fundamental role of computational models and artificial intelligence in modern science.

The program is taught in English to enhance its international reach and the communication skills of its students.

Why take this degree?

This master’s program not only provides you with the tools to develop advanced intelligent algorithms, but also teaches you to design, simulate, and optimize the computational infrastructure needed to solve complex real-world problems. It also emphasizes a deep understanding of the biases and limitations of Artificial Intelligence, as only through critical thinking and ethical responsibility can we design technological solutions that are truly safe, fair, and reliable in the real world.

Some highlights include:

International scope: The program is taught in English to enhance its international reach and students’ communication skills. (A B2 level of English or equivalent is required.)

Research ecosystem: All faculty members are internationally renowned researchers. All research groups will offer internships or master’s thesis projects related to cutting-edge research topics in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering.

Strategic partnerships with technology companies: Strong ties with companies in the Aragón technology cluster. The Aragonese technology clusters IDiA (Research, Development, and Innovation in Aragon) and TECNARA (ICT, Electronics, and Telecommunications Companies of Aragon) have stated that this master’s program is a crucial initiative to meet the growing demand for experts in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Engineering. The master’s program will benefit from their commitment to collaborate through internships, lectures, or the supervision of master’s theses.
